Rose Geranium Floral Water – Pelargonium graveolens – is manufactured from the distillation of West Australian Rose Geranium essential oil produced in the central coastal region of Western Australia, north of Perth. The essential oil is produced in other regions of South Africa and Europe.
Our Rose Geranium Floral Water is a new essential oil to the state, freshly produced in Western Australia from the farm planted Pelargonium graveloens, that will be harvested for premium essential oil later this year,
The West Australian Rose Geranium Water or Hydrosol consists of the water soluble components of the plant material produced when the oil and water separate during the distillation process.
The depth and complexity of the Rose Geranium aroma is present, meaning the resultant Hyrdosol is aromatic enough to be enjoyed in a diffuser, as a spritzer or facial spray, on the skin as a wash or for young children who are not old enough to experience the full exposure of pure essential oils.
For the diffuser, pour the water into the chamber to half the indicated level and then add water and fill to indicated level. You can use just the Hydrosol on it’s own but we would recommend blending 50/50 with water..
As a spritzer or facial/skin spray, pour your Hydrosol in a glass amber spray bottle. Use only the Hydrosol or if you are looking for a diluted solution, add distilled water. It has the most beautiful aroma of rose geranium and offers many pleasurable benefits.
Rose Geranium Hydrosol is not to be taken and to preserve your Hydrosol keep it in a cool place, preferably in the fridge.
The life expectancy of Hydrosols is shorter than their essential oil but kept in a cool place they will last for several years.
Rose Geranium is associated with the Heart Chakra.
