Rosalina Essential Oil Northern – Melaleuca ericifolia – commonly known as the Swamp Paperbark Tree is native to New South Wales and southern Queensland. A hardy tree which grows under sustainable management to provide excellent quality essential oil. This oil is referred to as ‘Northern’ in order for us to differentiate between it’s cousin growing on Flinders Island, Tasmania. Both are the same species but the oils have a slightly different aroma as environmental conditions like soil types and climate will affect the chemical components of the oils.
Rosalina is a little known evergreen paperbark shrub, whose long slender leaves and small stems are steam distilled.
Rosalina Essential Oil Northern is a beautifully scented oil with the mild cineole aroma of the well known tea trees, matched with a gentle lavender back note – which gives its common name as the Lavender Tea Tree.
Heritage Oils works with the distillers in northern New South Wales to provide you with the best Rosalina Essential Oil of single origin. The trees grow on the pristine slopes and in the clean fresh air of the highlands of the region, relatively free from urban and agricultural pollution.
Many of the Rosalina crops are situated in the path of the strong winds and cylclonic rains coming from the Pacific Ocean from time to time causing young trees to be damaged. Like many of Australia’s indigenous flora, the rehabilitation is short term.
We use Rosalina essential oil in our popular blend Tranquillity. Or give our popular Lemon Rosalina Cleaner blend a try. Blended with Lemon oil this combination provides an effective cleaning agent, leaving your home smelling sensational and bathroom sinks, baths and chrome looking sparkly.
This oil can be blended with many other oils although use sparingly as a little goes a long way.
Store in a cool place below 30c, keep out of the reach of children and not to be taken.
