Lemongrass can be used as a domestic cleaning product as a substitute for chemicals as it can be an effective cleaning agent around the home or office. The light grassy note of this oil does not penetrate the air and therefore is not intrusive like some of the more potent essential oils that can be used for the same purpose.
In a diffuser, Lemongrass Essential Oil can revive the mind and act as an energiser when feeling lethargic. As we have tried the oil in a diffuser for use in the home, blended with Lemon Scented Gum, this oil has been an effective insect and mosquito deterrent.
