Lemon Ironbark Essential Oil – Eucalyptus staigeriana – is known for its antiseptic prowess, air freshening, uplifting, relaxing qualities and will clear the air by removing bad room smells and odours. The essential oil from Lemon Ironbark can also offer relief from troubled breathing in winter and many claim that it helps to reduce snoring.
Lemon Ironbark Essential Oil offers a pleasant, fresh, gently sweet, lemon scent and whilst it is a member of the Eucalyptus family it offers a more subtle aroma and is certainly one of the pleasant Eucalyptus aromas. Lemon Ironbark Essential Oil blends well many other Australian essential oils such as West Australian Sandalwood, Rosalina and Kunzea oils. Lemon Ironbark oil contains aldehydes and should be used in topical blends at less than 1% especially if you have sensitive skin. Adding a few drops to the wash will make your clothes smell fresh and clean and it can also be used when washing the floor, cleaning worktops and wet areas like bathrooms.
