Sweet Fennel oil has a light yellow hue with a strong aroma which may remind you of liquorice. It is one of the oldest cultivated food crops as the Romans chewed the seeds to keep hunger at bay, give the Gladiators stamina courage.
Sweet Fennel essential oil is very versatile. It’s known properties are as an antiseptic, stimulant and has been known to contribute to some health and digestive ailments acting as a diuretic, laxative and a tonic. When applied on the skin with a carrier oil like Rosehip, Sweet Fennel oil may assist over time with the reduction of fine lines acting as a natural
botox (although Heritage Oils is not aware of any positive results from this process).
