Cardamom Essential Oil – Eletaria cardamomum – is a well known essential oil exacted from the seeds of the plant which have been steam distilled. Cardamom has been a popular spice introduced through the spice trade and made popular from its culinary history.
Cardamom Essential Oil is a warming oil which has been used for many years for its diverse benefits to assist your physical and mental health.
Use as a mouth wash from its anti-microbial properties to cleanse area of germs to eliminate bad breath but do not swallow the oil.
Sprinkle a few drops of your Cardamom oil in a warm bath as an aromatic bath oil to aid as a disinfect for the skin and hair and calm the mind – a very relaxing experience.
Cardamom oil has a calming effect when used in a vaporiser or ultra-sonic diffuser. Add 3-4 drops of the oil into water, power the diffuser and use to clear the air in either the office or a room which is well used including pets. The aroma of cardamon will not disappoint you.
Cardamom oil bends well with citrus, clove and cedarwood essential oils. It is also a nice additive to WA Sandalwood for an indulgent aroma although go lightly on the Cardamom.
This oil should be kept at a temperature below 30°, kept out of the reach of children and not to be taken. If pregnant seek medical advice before you use Cardamom oil
